XC Networks offers custom space, power and interconnection solutions from 1/4 racks to large cages. Some examples of space offered are as follows:

Cages

Square Footage is offered in custom size and dimensions. Cages can be designed to include any configuration of cabinet/rack layouts with custom ladder rack and fiber trough for cable management. An XC Networks Sales Engineer can assist in optimizing the design and layout.

Meet Me Area Connectivity

At the heart of the XC Network model are Meet Me Areas (MMAs) that contain passive interconnection panels to support circuit connections of every speed and medium. XC Networks customers gain access to these MMAs by running bulk cable from their premises (i.e. rack, cabinet or cage) into the MMA, terminating on panels that they own. These bulk cable runs are called "Homeruns" and are offered as follows:

Fiber; OCn, STMn, GigE, Waves, etc. Cat 5; 10/100 Ethernet

Rack Units

Meet Me Area space is utilized in Rack Unit (1.75") increments. The number of RUs an XC Network customer requires is based on the size of the panel that will be installed.

Power

With XC Network Cabinets, Racks or Cages, customers can procure customer power solutions based on their equipment specifications.

AC Power

Available in 110v, 208v and 480v from 5 amps on up.

DC Power

-48v DC power is available from 5 amps on up.

Cross Connects

Once you are an established XC Network customer, cross connects to the hundreds of MMA Wholesale and Enterprise Network Operators are only feet away. A cross connect of any medium can be delivered in hours for a nominal Non Recurring Fee and No Monthly Recurring Fee regardless of circuit speed.

Technical Support

24 x 7 technical support is available to XC Network customers in 4316 Bryan Street. XC Network technicians can support anything from circuit testing and server reboots to the installation, turn up and provisioning of network equipment and circuits.
